In pursuit of a better life, Huiling decides to head to the Thai-Malaysian border to take on work in human trafficking. Along the way, she experiences the filth and darkness behind the trade, witnesses the violence inflicted upon Myanmar migrants, and finds herself in trouble due to a mistake. With nowhere to go, she is unexpectedly taken in by medical workers, which awakens a long-buried memory of tenderness.
